· Positions that enhance labor rather than restrict
· Rebozo techniques
· Hands-on practice

This workshop is to promote our birth community and build connections and therefore, will be offered at a significant discount. It is intended for nurses, doulas, student/apprentice midwives, labor assistants of all walks and professional affiliations. All experience levels are welcome!
Discounts are available for registered members of the Central Texas Birth Network and Volunteers In the GALS (Giving Austin Labor Support) volunteer birth companion program being developed by Brigid Dodson.
About the Instructor:
Jessica Atkins is a certified birth doula and trainer (DONA), a certified childbirth educator (ICCE), and lactation educator with home and hospital experience. She holds an AA in Early Childhood Development, a BA in Family Studies, and continues her studies in graduate school. Jessica has published many articles and presented at many conferences and workshops, has won several awards including DONA's prestigious Annie Kennedy award in 2006. She continues her passion for supporting families since 1989 through the childbearing years and beyond. Jessica is available for workshops and conferences by contacting her directly.
